The virtual classroom element of this course will be delivered live via Zoom on Saturday 15th June 2024 between 10am and 4pm BST. If you’re unable to attend the live teaching session, there will be a self paced version of this course available through Pupstarts later in the year.
This course is for both pet professionals and owners looking to expand upon their knowledge and understanding of dog body language. Everyone who has contact with dogs will benefit from furthering their understanding of dog communication to improve welfare and reduce risk of conflicts.
This course is delivered via a combination of a virtual classroom session and home learning. You will be given further resources to support the live classroom learning to equip you with everything you need to successfully undertake your assessment.
The time this course takes to complete will vary from student to student. As a guide, we anticipate approx 7 hours of guided learning and a total qualification time of 10 hours.
Assessment for the Level 2 award in Canine Body Language will be completed by your tutor. On completion of the live learning, you’ll be given a workbook and assessment to complete in your own time. Your knowledge and understanding will then be assessed by an iPET Network approved Training Provider delivering a pass/fail.
